overview
XTX Markets is an innovation-led, algorithmic trading firm, set apart by its culture; one based on the value of the individual. Their visual identity uses clustered pentagonal shapes in cool blue hues, which fit together like a puzzle and articulate the data and technology at the heart of their offering. This forms the basis and artistic direction for a set of bespoke pieces displayed throughout their offices in London, Paris, and New York.
XTX Markets sought to reinforce their brand’s visual and operational ethos across their global offices, while ensuring each location retained unique elements that resonated with the local environment. The overarching goal was to create workspaces that not only stimulate creativity and collaboration among its employees, but also encourage a deeper connection to the brand’s values, and stand as a testament to XTX's commitment to innovation and precision.
New York
The New York office features installations ‘Undulating Entry’ and ‘Corian Clock’, that maintain the brand's identity and reinforce a sense of technological prowess within their workplace. Undulating Entry, with its dynamic lit pentagonal tiling, provides a calming, engaging entry point that reflects the pulse of Manhattan culture. The Corian Clock, an artistic interpretation of time, uses tessellating pentagonal tiles to blend timekeeping with abstract art, embodying the precision and innovation at the heart of XTX’s operations.
London
In London, our teams introduced several key installations that resonate with XTX’s core values. The ‘Liquidity Staircase’ is a striking feature that visualises the concept of liquidity with a staircase encased in a water-like illusion, echoing XTX’s mission to ‘provide consistent liquidity, helping market participants throughout the world obtain the best prices in the various asset classes we cover, regardless of changing market conditions’. Another notable piece, the Hoberman Chandelier, is a kinetic sculpture that symbolises the dynamic and expansive nature of the financial markets.
Much of the work was designed to reflect the dynamic and expansive nature of the financial markets.
Paris
Paris's office is distinguished by a wall installation featuring mesh panels overlaid with the XTX logo and a background of flowing particles. This installation not only ties into the consistent pentagonal theme found in the other offices, but also adds a layer of interactive visual depth that stimulates engagement and reflects the interconnected nature of global financial markets.
