Concept
The first in a series of public artworks commissioned to improve quality of life in the capital of the UAE as part of the For Abu Dhabi initiative.
Completed in partnership with the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT), our mural graces the perimeter wall of three neighborhood schools, bringing unrivaled color and vibrancy to the streets of Abu Dhabi. Reaction and momentum combines 3D sculptural seating elements and an infinite mural, meticulously hand-painted along the kilometer-long perimeter wall.
The piece was co-created with students from each school through a series of creative workshops, opening up a creative dialogue about what inspires them as students and the reaction and momentum that education stimulates. This is the first in a series of murals designed for public spaces where people can interact with them and explore the rich cultural history of the region.
